Arrival
As you step out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Key2africa Safaris guide will welcome you with a big smile: Your guide will take you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and breathe in the African atmosphere. The next day, your guide will take you on an exciting private safari, where you will be able to travel at your leisure. Enjoy the luxury of your 9 day Tanzania Safari.

Day 2
Arusha To Tarangire National Park
On your first day of your 9 Days Tanzania Safari, You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River that runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Vegetation including elephant grass, acacia woodland, and lush rainforest is quite dense in places. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest can also be seen. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators including lions and leopards, overnight in Mto Wa Mbu.

Day 3
Mto Wa Mbu To Lake Natron
On the third day of adventure, you will depart at your hotel heading to Lake Natron the home of flamingos and the famous mountain of God “Oldonyo Lengai” Upon arrival at your accommodation you will check in and dress up for a small fun hike to waterfall where you will enjoy swimming and the history of the famous Oldonyo lengai Mountain. Lake Natron stands out for its extraordinary appearance. The lake, located in northern Tanzania close to the Kenyan border, is famous for its vibrant red or pink color, caused by special minerals and tiny organisms. Although most animals can’t thrive in its unusual waters, it becomes a significant place for flamingos.

Day 4
Lake Natron To Northen Serengeti
Today, wake up early and drive to the northern part of Serengeti, called Kogatende. You’ll see something amazing – 2 million wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. Spend the whole day watching this incredible show. In the late afternoon, go back to your lodge for a comfy place to stay and a tasty dinner.

Day 5
Mara River Full Day
Another day of morning and afternoon game drives in the North Serengeti along the Mara River. Dust exploding, lions stalking a moveable feast, gigantic crocodiles, and fast-flowing wild rivers await the herds as they head north. The river crossing of thousands of wildebeest and zebra is absolutely one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in Africa.

Day 6
Northern Serengeti To Central Serengeti
Today, after breakfast, get ready for an adventure-packed day! Take a leisurely drive to Central Serengeti, keeping an eye out for exciting wildlife sightings along the way. When you arrive at your hotel, dive into the pool for a refreshing swim and then kick back and relax.

Full Day In Central Serengeti
A full day in Central Serengeti is all about exciting safaris and amazing wildlife. You’ll see lions, giraffes, and elephants in their natural habitat. Driving through the wide-open plains, you’ll get to watch animals doing their thing and enjoy beautiful views. It’s a day of adventure and unforgettable moments in the heart of nature.

Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater
On this day, you’ll explore the renowned Ngorongoro Crater with a full day dedicated to a game drive. Enjoy lunch near Hippo contuining game drive later in the afternoon drive back to Accommodation.
The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is like a big bowl made by a volcano. It’s special because lots of animals live there, such as lions, elephants, buffalos, and more. There’s also a lake called Lake Magadi where you can see flamingos and other birds. People called the Maasai also live there, making it a unique place with both animals and culture. You can stand on the edge of the crater and see everything below, and the views are really amazing. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of a special area to protect nature, and it’s a great safari spot where you can experience the beauty of the land and see lots of animals.

Day 9
Lake Manyara To Arusha
On the last day of your 9 day Tanzania safari, you will enjoy a day at Lake Manyara where you will have the opportunity to see elephant, hippo, giraffe and the famous tree-climbing lions. Take in the breathtaking views of the lake and its flamingo-filled shores, and get lost in the rich greenery of the forest, home to countless species of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature. In the afternoon, drive to Arusha and drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport or the accommodation of your choice.
